Now back to the title of this post. Think of it this way.

Education is important in providing people with knowledge and skills to succeed in life, but it alone is not sufficient for true wisdom using it for good (or bad). Education provides us with the tools to process information, but it is wisdom that teaches us how to use those tools effectively, as in this case, this management of estates.

Having access to data and information is essential in today's world, where we are constantly bombarded with information from all directions. However, simply having access to data does not necessarily make us wise. Wisdom comes from being able to process and make sense of that data, and then apply it in a meaningful and effective way.

One example, different from our industry, of the difference between education and wisdom is the case of a medical doctor. A doctor may have received an excellent education and have access to all the latest medical research and data, but it is their ability to interpret and use that data effectively that makes them a wise practitioner. The ability to diagnose and treat patients is not solely based on the amount of data that the doctor has access to, but rather on their ability to understand the information and apply it in a practical and effective way.

Similarly, a wise property manager is not just someone who has access to data and information about an organization or industry, but someone who can use that information to make informed decisions that benefit the organization as a whole, even the society in general.

In conclusion, having access to data and information is undoubtedly important, but it is only one part of the equation. The true value of education lies in our ability to use that data and information in a meaningful and effective way. Wisdom is about understanding the context and making sense of the data, and then using it to make decisions that have a positive impact on ourselves and those around us. Get it?
