Internet Issues slight but important

  • Sorry to bother you. I just wanted to let you know that the internet went out again last Friday. I was out of town for the weekend, but reset it when I came home and then I called IT as well. The internet appears to be working fine now, however, the TV is not working and the IT guy said that he needs to speak with you so that the two of you can coordinate. How would you like to proceed? Sorry for the inconvenience.

Internet provider told me, as the landlord away:

Our apologies for the late report, our network engineer have visited her unit last Monday and it was verified that internet connection is working with her laptop and mobile device. Just to clarify, our scope of our support does not cover fixing remote control issues on your smart TV. But our scope of our support is the delivery of internet connection to your unit and to ensure our network devices such as your wireless router, IP phone and fiber optic switch (at the cabinet) is working. Our network engineer attempted to assist her to connect the TV on the WiFi signal but because of the remote control issues they were unable to navigate to the connection settings on the TV.

Good afternoon Susana,As Leopard, the ISP reported below there seems an issue with the remote control. It could be the batteries or could be something else like re-setting it up. I might need to have a short Facetime/WhatsApp Video with you when you're back in Twin Oaks so we can set the TV up with the internet.Best Regards,

Should you still be with the Sony TV Remote control (RC) issue, a Sony service centre nearby can be visited. Just bring the remote control and the attached invoice. I think it won't be covered by the warranty and you need to purchase the same remote control type/model. Usually per the Sony helpdesk support it starts Php400++ per unit. I'll cover it and lets discuss later how to reimburse you back. Please send me scanned copy of the invoice of the new RC.

Should you wait for the remote as we ordered in advance with Sony Centre. We called 638 3961..92011. And deposited P900.00 for the remove control model we have as to their account BPI 8101-0026-68 solid electronics corp. account. We emailed them and awaiting their response from ort@solidservice.com.ph Please for your information, we should share on the cost 50.50. Just telling


What I did was that. I have the guest's number in the USA and mine from Singapore. We did Facetime and identified the TV remote control has an issue and cannot setup to have the wifi. It might also just needed too to upgrade the Plan999 to a higher bandwidth plan. But we stayed on to 999 and bought that P800++ unit of RC remote control from Sony Service centre though there's a waiting time of about 10 days. I asked also the tenant to participate on the cost.
